Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2025

Acceptance

By accessing or using LLM Council ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Use of the Service

You may use LLM Council for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the terms of the underlying AI providers (OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.). You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and the terms of any API keys you provide.

API keys and billing

When you provide API keys via the BYOK feature, you are responsible for any costs incurred with those providers. LLM Council passes your key to the provider to fulfil your request and does not mark up provider costs. Keep your keys secure; do not share them.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Notify us immediately at support@llmcouncil.online if you suspect unauthorised access.

Intellectual property

LLM Council and its original content (excluding user-generated content and model outputs) are the property of LLM Council. Model-generated responses are subject to the terms and licences of the underlying model providers.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any model output for any purpose. Use model responses at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LLM Council shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
